Gooseberry undeservedly rarely used in baking, but in vain, baking with them is very good. So I decided to correct this unfortunate misunderstanding, and to show you the cake recipe with him, especially because this year I collected a good crop of gooseberries.

Ingredients

  • Butter

  • Sugar

    175 g

  • Flour

    400 g

  • Corn starch

    1.5 Tbsp

  • Flour

  • Brown sugar

  • Cream

    150 ml

In food processor mix all ingredients for dough, except water, in the end, add cold water and knead until the dough gather into a ball. Wrap it in cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Remove dough from the refrigerator and roll it out into a circle, put it in a greased form with a diameter of 28-30 cm, making bumpers. Prick the dough with a fork and send in the oven for 15 minutes.

In a food processor mix the flour, yolks, cream and sugar, mix until smooth. If you have sour gooseberries, the sugar may need more.
