Semifreddo with plums
Soft Italian ice cream, which is traditionally made from heavy cream, eggs with different additions - chocolate, nuts, cookies, etc. the Recipe is dedicated to my friend Olga Olena731 which is passionately fond of Italian cuisine and coffee.

Ingredients

  • Prunes

    120 g

  • Brown sugar

    80 g

  • Water

    120 ml

  • Cream

    300 ml

  • Dark chocolate

    150 g

  • Instant coffee

    1 Tbsp

  • Cognac

    90 ml

Cooking

Prunes pour brandy and leave overnight in the fridge.

In a small saucepan pour water, add brown sugar "MISTRAL". To heat on the fire until the sugar is dissolved.

Add to the skillet along with the prunes and cognac. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and heat, stirring with a spoon for five minutes. Then put the plums in a separate bowl. In a saucepan, add instant coffee and stir.

Add to the hot mixture the chocolate.

Stir with a wooden spoon until all the chocolate melts. Allow to cool to room temperature.

Cold cream vzbit hand or stationary mixer to medium peaks.

Pour chocolate into the cream parts. Spatulas stir until smooth, then add the prunes.

To prepare forms for ice cream. You can use silicone molds or metal by wrapping them with cling film. Pour into forms the chocolate-cream mixture. Cover the top with cling film and put into the freezer. After 4 hours you can put the dessert on plates. Decorate with melted chocolate and coffee beans.
