Chocolate cake with quinoa
For chocolate lovers cakes - simple and delicious. It turns out moist inside cake with a rich chocolate flavor and fine-grained structure, thanks to the quinoa. Found the recipe on a Spanish cooking site.

Ingredients

  • Quinoa

    70 g

  • Water

    140 ml

  • Milk

    120 ml

  • Chicken egg

    4 piece

  • Vanilla

    1 piece

  • Brown sugar

    240 ml

  • Butter

    195 g

  • Cocoa powder

    70 g

  • Leavening agent

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

To prepare this pie you will need quinoa - South American grain that grows on the slopes of the Andes.

Quinoa is washed.

Pour cereal with water and bring to a boil. Then the fire abated. Cook quinoa with the lid closed until completely absorbed water. I give cereal to cool.

In a bowl combine eggs, brown sugar and vanilla, beat well with a mixer.

Add in a bowl the milk, a little mix the ingredients with a mixer.

Cocoa powder is sifted with baking powder, add salt, mix.

Mixed egg-milk mixture with the cocoa powder, salt and baking powder, add quinoa, softened butter, again whisk. Form grease with butter, pour into it the dough. I use wonderful ceramic shape with a diameter of 23 cm, which gave me Nina (Nina superbabes).

Bake pie in preheated oven at 170-180 degrees for about 50 minutes. You may need a little more time for baking this cake, you need to check the readiness of the cake with a toothpick. Give the cake to cool completely. In the end, the cake almost does not rise, i.e. it remains after baking approximately at the same height as before baking. Bon appétit!
