Cooking
Here are the products I used for dumplings.
In a large bowl pour kefir, add 1 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp of salt and soda. Mix up.
Start adding the sifted flour
First mix with a spoon until it's more convenient.
Then hands knead a soft dough. It will stick to hands - as it should be! Sent the dough to rest in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Meanwhile, let us poppy filling. Previously it was necessary to pour poppy boiling water, mix well/rinse and drain the water through a fine strainer. Again pour Mac boiling water at least 2 hours. Then take a mortar and grind the poppy seeds to the appearance of white milk (approximately 10-15 minutes). Added at this stage to poppy sugar and a couple tablespoons of thick jam or honey. Stir. I bought ready-to-use Mac, because it is safely going to use it in stuffing, without adding anything.
Take the dough out of the fridge, takes out a piece of dough with a nice ping-pong table.
Mash with your hands to a thickness of 1 cm And put into the middle of the stuffing.
Suscipiam dumpling and put it into the steamer...
Arrange the dumplings are not too close to each other, they will increase in size. Include the program "a COUPLE" for 20-25 minutes.
While we prepare our dumplings, we cook the sauce: mix the milk with cream. Add sugar and vanilla. Leave 0,5 glass of milk to dissolve the starch. When boiling milk, you enter a thin stream of milk with starch with constant stirring. Bring until thick and remove from heat.
Here are our dumplings turned out after the beep.
