Cooking
First, we need to prepare caramelized onions - it is the basis of this casserole. To do this, cut onion into quarters and break the petals. Fill with onion sauce from Kikkoman, cognac and sprinkle with thyme. Close tightly with foil and send it for 25 minutes in a preheated 200 degree oven.
After 25 minutes remove the foil and leave the onions get caramelized in the oven for another 10 minutes.
Prepare our filling. For this blue cheese we shall cut cubes, brie strips and Parmesan cheese grate on a grater mark.
Combine milk and egg. Will unbolted with a fork until smooth.
Add to milk mixture, blue cheese and Parmesan.
Gonna get our onion and mix it with slices of brie.
Fill with milk and cheese fill and send in the oven for another 15 minutes, reducing the temperature to 170 degrees.
The finished casserole can get a little cool and enjoy a mild cheese taste with notes of caramel onions. Try to cook this casserole, friends, because kitchen is the best place for new taste discoveries!
