Cookies
Fragrant loose tea biscuits, the temptation hard to resist :)

Ingredients

  • Flour

    200 g

  • Starch

    50 g

  • Coconut shavings

    50 g

  • Sugar

    100 g

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Orange zest

    1 tsp

  • Salt

  • Nutmeg

    0.5 tsp

  • Cinnamon

    1.5 tsp

  • Cardamom

    1 tsp

  • Ginger

    2 tsp

  • Jam

  • Honey

Butter (margarine) should be room temperature so take it out of the fridge in advance.

As always, everything is simple: mix flour, starch and coconut flakes. Add the egg, sugar, oil, lemon zest, all spice.

Quickly knead the dough (best with cold hands), wrap in cling film and put in the cold for 30 minutes. Chilled dough roll out to a thickness of 5 mm. Roll in foil or baking paper.

Turn on the oven at 200*C. Cut out stars of different sizes (of course, the "star" form is optional, you can make cookies of any shape, I just have it prepared by Christmas). Large star transfer pattern on the sheet, cover them with a little jam, top, put a small star.

A little honey mixed with ginger powder, grease stars with this mixture and sprinkle with coconut. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes at 200*C until Golden brown.
