Here is my version of potato rolls with herring.

Cooking
Boil potatoes in their skins and mince.
Add to the potatoes a bit of salt, chop the dill and add, mix well. On a rectangular Board, lay a baking paper and put potato on it (from top to pour a little oil, to make it easier to shape).
Beets boil and RUB on a small grater, move with mayonnaise, put the prepared mixture on the potato layer.
Herring fillet cut into thin slices and place over the entire surface of the beet.
Green onions chop and place to one side.
With the help of baking paper roll the roulade and place in the fridge for 2 hours.
Finished roll decorate with cucumbers.
In the cut (though to leave 2 hours in the fridge, we have lacked the patience).
