Potato gratin
A very simple dish, but nonetheless very tasty. Inspired by his creation of a series of dry "charms" Maggi on the second, so if you don't like "sustoti" of the bags, this recipe - an alternative to fast, but not very useful dishes!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

  • Carrots

  • Onion

  • Tomato paste

  • Garlic

  • Mayonnaise

Onions finely chop, fry in any vegetable oil until Golden brown

Carrots clean, RUB on a coarse grater, add to the onions, continue to fry for another couple of minutes on medium heat.

Then pour in the tomato juice, so much that the sauce is not too liquid. If using tomato paste, then pour in a little water. Stew under the cover for another couple minutes. If, however, with juice or water overdone, a little ovarium on low heat to evaporate excess liquid.

Almost at the end sprinkle with salt and add the spices, what to taste, I use Khmeli-suneli, allspice and ginger, or simply spices for cooking potatoes. Another minute and remove from heat.

Washed potatoes cut into plastinkami approximately 0.5 cm, can be thinner, put a layer in the form. Cast iron "grandma" pan just fit! A form with thin walls it is better not to use, as the potatoes can simply be burnt.

For potatoes put the stuffing, salt, pepper it is not necessary, as salt and spices are already in the prepared sauce. The stuffing can be any, I used a mixture of homemade and chicken.

Pour our sauce. Again, it should not be too liquid! Otherwise all the liquid will drain to the bottom and the bottom layer of potatoes simply cooked in it until the top layer of potatoes to get to the condition, lower already turn into a puree! That's why the sauce should boil until thick.

Then all the layers are repeated as many times as you have the ingredients, the last layer should be potato. In the inner layers you can put all the potato crusts so the top is smooth and neat.

It's time for mayonnaise. Cut corner of the pack so the hole was small, and we do on the top layer of mayonnaise mesh, as the pastry bag! You can, of course, and just mayonnaise, but a layer is more uniform, and looks much prettier. You can still sprinkle with grated cheese, in this case I didn't use it. Ship all in the oven for 40-50 minutes, take out when the top layer of potatoes is tender.
