Bagels
A recipe of delicious cakes.

Ingredients

  • Milk

    2 cup

  • Quail egg

    2 piece

  • Yeast

    11 g

  • Butter

    50 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 pack

  • Lemon peel

    0.5 tsp

  • Sugar

    4 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Flour

    5 cup

In warm milk add sugar, salt and melted butter, stir, add yeast and leave for 20 minutes to let the yeast "earned".

After adding the remaining ingredients and knead elastic dough. Put in a warm place to increase in two times (I have to grease the pan in which you place the dough with vegetable oil and put in a warmed, but not hot oven).

The dough after increasing to press down and leave for another 40 minutes.

Next, divide the dough into several equal parts, roll out and cut circles (I use just the lid of the pot). Divide the circle into eight parts. Then a matter of taste. You can make these bagels with toppings (jam, marmalade, fruits). I did no filling. Each triangle twist, starting with wide side.

Spread the finished bagels on a greased vegetable oil a baking sheet and leave them for 30 minutes. To coat the bagels with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake in the preheated to 170 degree oven for about 15 -20 minutes. Hot bagels to lubricate milk.
