Rice speckled
Another simple dish of Indian cuisine. It is my long stick wand when guests at the door. Simple rice in our time is no surprise, but so – and- speckled - will take its rightful place in festive toppings.

Ingredients

  • Mac

    1 Tbsp

  • Mustard

    1 tsp

  • Water

    1 cup

  • Figure

    0.5 cup

  • Melted butter

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

    1 tsp

In hot oil put mustard seeds, when they begin to splutter (be careful, they quickly begin to burst and scatter),

Add poppy seeds, stir, keep on fire a few seconds

Stir in the rice, stir, cover with water, season with salt.

Bring to a boil, cover and cook for 10 minutes on low heat. Our Indian side dish is ready!

Our Indian side dish is ready! Traditionally, in India almost all the dishes liberally sprinkled with lime juice. Rice is no exception. The rice serves a variety of "toppings" - chutneys (sauces), Wright (salad with yogurt) and pickles (pickled in oil with spices vegetables or fruits), washed down with a Lassi (sweet or salty yogurt and spices, whipped with water).
