Corn casserole with cream cheese
Of all my favorite foods corn, perhaps, is the second (after chicken) place :-) Because I love to use it in different dishes. One of my favorite recipes I want to share with You now. This zapekanka - a great Breakfast or dessert for tea. But, if you subtract the amount of sugar, you get corn bread to complement the vegetable or meat hot dishes. You Choose. I propose in this recipe a dessert option.

Ingredients

  • Corn flour

    1 cup

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Leavening agent

    2 tsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Sugar

    4 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Yogurt

    200 ml

  • Cheese

    180 g

  • Vegetable oil

    50 ml

  • Corn

    0.5 can

  • Butter

    1 tsp

Oven included 180 degrees and allow to warm up. To start, mix the dry ingredients: cornmeal and wheat flour, baking powder and salt.

Stir eggs with fork in separate bowl mix sugar, yogurt, cottage cheese and butter.

Connect both the mixture and thoroughly stir.

Add corn. Stir.

Pour the mixture in greased with butter a square shape with sides of 24 cm and put in oven for 30-40 minutes until baked.

Readiness check with a toothpick in the center of the casserole. Clean floss - casserole is ready. Zapekanka should rise while baking and become porous, but not dry. The cheese makes it soft and as it were "juicy". Let it stand in the form of 5-10 minutes, as hot pie is difficult to cut without spoiling its appearance.
