Ear pork
This recipe I read in the book "Russian cooking" 1962 edition (at the time a neighbor who worked as a cook, supplied). Painfully liked the name (hee hee), decided to cook, especially all the products were in the fridge. Now share with You, maybe someone and this dish in a pot will come in handy! PS in the preparation of any one of the ears was not injured.

Ingredients

  • Pork

    400 g

  • Potatoes

    5 piece

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Celery root

    200 g

  • Mushrooms

    1 handful

  • Broth

    500 ml

  • Flour

    2 Tbsp

  • Cabbage

    4 piece

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Vegetable oil

Cooking

Pork cut into small pieces. Fry in a pan with a little oil until Golden brown, salted and pepper.

While the meat is fried, make the sauce. To do this in a pan slightly fry the flour and pour it with the broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Leave on the fire, so that the sauce thickens a little (not much).

Put the pot with layers of roasted meat.

Onion, sliced rings.

Celery, cut into wedges.

Sliced mushrooms (pre-soaked and boiled for about an hour). How many dried mushrooms in grams I'm not sure, given the fact that they are very light - about 30 grams, I guess.

Potatoes, cut into large slices. Somewhere between the layers put a Bay leaf.

In each pot, poured the sauce.

Tightly close the top cabbage leaf (if the leaves are very large, it is possible and a half), cover with a lid and put in preheated oven for an hour.
