Spicy carrots
A great spicy side dish to meat, but also delicious as a separate dish.

Ingredients

  • Carrots

    350 g

  • Soy sauce

    2 Tbsp

  • Honey

    2 Tbsp

  • Dry white wine

    100 ml

  • Green olives

    70 g

  • Black olives

    70 g

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

Cooking

Carrots cut into cubes, 4-5 cm long. Fry in vegetable oil on medium heat for about five minutes.

Add the wine and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the wine is completely evaporated.

Add to the carrot honey and Kikkoman soy sauce, stir and cook for another 10 minutes.

Olives cut into slices.

Add the olives to the carrots and heat for 1-2 minutes, remove from heat.

All the garnish is ready, serve with meat or as a separate dish.
