A whole cauliflower in the sauce
This dish is wonderful that requires virtually no attention. Watch and stir not necessary. And the result is a delicious in taste and healthy dish. The lower part of the cabbage stewed in tomato sauce, and top steamed! The idea of cooking the whole cabbage I found in one of the earliest books Jamie Oliver.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower

    1 kg

  • Tomatoes in own juice

    800 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    1 piece

  • Apple

    2 piece

  • Cumin

    1 Tbsp

  • Soy sauce

    3 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Balsamic

    2 Tbsp

Onions and garlic peel and finely chop.

From cabbage to remove the leaves and part of the stem. The whole stem do not remove, otherwise the forks will collapse. Chop the leaves and stem.

The size of the pan, in which You will prepare, should be slightly larger than the size of the cabbage head. Pour 1 tbsp olive oil and fry until soft onions, garlic and a stalk with leaves.

Add cumin and grated apples, leave for a few minutes on the fire.

Then pour the tomatoes in own juice, balsamic vinegar and soy sauce from Kikkoman. Bring to a boil.

Put plugs in the pan, the sauce should reach the half of the plug. Drizzle the Kale with the remaining olive oil. Close the lid and keep on low heat for 40 minutes.
