Beans in Breton
Beans in Breton is a dish which includes beans, stewed with tomatoes or tomato puree. There are many variations of cooking this dish. I want to offer one, which will help to diversify a fast table. Tasty tomato and, importantly, satisfying!

Ingredients

  • Beans

    1.5 cup

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Bay leaf

    6 piece

  • Black pepper

    3 piece

  • Allspice

    0.25 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

  • Tomato paste

    3 Tbsp

  • Water

    0.5 cup

  • Tomatoes in own juice

    300 g

  • Soy sauce

    1 Tbsp

  • Paprika sweet

    1 tsp

  • Parsley

    1 tsp

  • Chili

    0.25 tsp

  • Coriander

    0.25 tsp

  • Marjoram

    0.25 tsp

  • Cumin

    1 tsp

Cooking

Soak the beans in cold water for 7-10 hours, rinse, then boil in salted water until tender.

Onion peel and cut into large cubes.

In a large pan (in pan) preheat a sufficient quantity of sunflower oil. Add the chopped onion, Bay leaf, allspice and black pepper peas. Cook on low heat until the onions are soft. It will take 5-8 minutes.

To the onions add soy sauce, tomato paste, tomatoes, water and spices. Mix thoroughly and simmer for 5-8 minutes.

Add the beans and cook for 15-20 minutes on slow fire under a cover. Serve with a big piece of bread. Remember that the taste reveals more the next day.
