Salad a La
Salad "Pantesco" is a typical cold dish in Sicily and is typical more of the island of Pantelleria. The salad is called "A La Dantesca", as in the original, need capers, red onion and tomato varieties "datteren" or "Pachino" I managed without them.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    5 piece

  • Tomato

    3 piece

  • Olives

    50 g

  • Sunflower oil

  • Oregano

  • Black pepper

  • Salt

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Vinegar

    2 Tbsp

  • Basil

Cooking

Boil potatoes until tender. Then cool and cut into large chunks.

Onion peel and cut into thin strips, put the chopped onion in a bowl and cover with cold water, add a little vinegar. Leave for 30 minutes, then drain.

Cut the tomatoes into slices.

Olives cut in half.

Now mix all the ingredients for the salad and season to taste sunflower oil "Oleyna", add the salt, pepper, dried oregano and chopped fresh Basil. Optionally, you can add a drop of vinegar in the salad.
