Description

Casserole
The original casserole that can be prepared as a vegetarian version or with meat.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    10 piece

  • Cabbage

    500 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Flour

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Greens

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Black pepper

  • Spices

  • Butter

  • Cheese

  • Sour cream

To prepare the products. Cabbage, if it is too sour, rinse it under running cold water, onions and greens finely chop. Boiled eggs cut into cubes. On request, in a casserole, you can add the meat. I have lying around in the fridge and a half sausages and a small piece of doctoral sausage, cut into small cubes. Peel the potatoes.

In a pan pour vegetable oil, put the cabbage, add a little water and leave to stew on medium heat for until soft.

Fry the onions until Golden brown. You can directly put the onion with the cabbage and stew all together, but I love fried onions, it gives the dish a pleasant aroma.

Add the onion to the cabbage.

Cut the potato and boil until tender in salted water.

At the end of quenching add to the cabbage to taste with salt, pepper and spices. I added spices for a vegetable stew.

And meat products, if You decide to use them.

With the finished potatoes drain the water, mash it well with a pestle, add the egg, flour and herbs. Knead well.

Half mashed potatoes and spread into a greased form with margarine and flatten.

Cabbage mixed with egg and spread on the potatoes.

To close the remaining puree and smooth out the surface with a wet spoon.

Slightly to grease with sour cream, put flakes of butter.

On top of a little sprinkle cheese, grated on a coarse grater.

Put the casserole in the hot oven for 25-30 minutes.

Remove, cool slightly in shape, then cut into portions and put onto plates.
