Pies with peas and smoked
Delicious homemade pastries with fragrant and hearty stuffing!!! Try.

Ingredients

  • Yogurt

    1 cup

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Water

    5 Tbsp

  • Yeast

    1 tsp

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Flour

    450 g

  • Peas

    250 g

  • Water

    750 ml

  • Meat

    180 g

  • Onion

    130 g

  • Vegetable oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Yolk egg

    1 piece

  • Water

    1 Tbsp

Cooking

Prepare the products. Peas washed. Put in a pot, add pure water. Cook until cooked. Salt. Cool.

In a Cup put the sugar and yeast. Add warm water (5 tbsp). subject to the appearance of a foam "cap".

In a deep pour Cup of yogurt. Add melted butter and salt.

Add the yeast mixture. Stir.

Add the sifted flour.

Knead the dough. Cover and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.

Chop the onion and smoked meat.

In frying pan, pour vegetable oil. Arrange the onion and smoked meat. Fry for 2-4 minutes. Cool.

In a Cup put pea puree and fried onions with meat. To taste add pepper and if necessary salt. (I'm not salted).

Stir. The stuffing is ready.

On working surface, divide the dough into 14-16 pieces. Roll out each part into a small pellet. Spread 1 tbsp (heaped) of filling onto each tortilla.

Put the patties on a baking sheet. I got 2 baking trays with pies.

Grease with egg yolk (yolk +1tbsp. L. water).

Bake pies in preheated oven for 20-30 minutes at 180 degrees. Sprinkle the finished pies with water and cover with a towel for 10 minutes.
