Description
Spekulatius. Delicious, spicy Spekulatius biscuits are traditionally baked before Christmas in Germany. The spices and the almonds give it a unique taste, and marzipan mass makes them sugar-crumbly. This cookie I presented as a gift to my bestie, Larisochka Kleine Hase, attentive, kind-hearted person. For the recipe a huge thank you to Elena.

Cooking
Beat butter, sugar and marzipan. I used unrefined Demerara sugar TM Mistral, which added liver a wonderful caramel flavor.
Will have such a homogeneous mass.
Add egg and again beat until smooth.
Add the flour, grated zest, salt, baking powder, vanilla, spices, and ground almonds.
Knead the dough. To it wrapped up in plastic wrap, and chill 2 hours in the fridge, you can leave for the night.
For forming biscuits I used kindly presented to me by Larisochka wooden form. But you can roll out the dough thickness of about 3 mm and just cut the cookies.
The form of flour with a brush.
And to fill her tight dough, then rolled with a rolling pin.
Slipping over the edge, pull out of shape all the figures and arrange them on the baking paper.
Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 8 minutes until brown.
That's all. The cookies are ready.
You can brew tea and crunch!
