A month ago my mom sent me a package. In addition to her carefully invested a few pages from old magazines "Liza&q uot;. Basically, with a cottage cheese cakes, pies and various casseroles. Examining each recipe, decided to cook this casserole of noodles with sour cabbage. Really unusual for me this combination. Casserole liked my family, and I also liked the ease of preparation and simple ingredients that make it again, this time to share with everyone. A recipe search by ingredients nothing came up, although I was sure that something similar should already be on the website.

Cooking
Begin to prepare pasta. They need to be boiled in salted water. They should not be absolutely ready (al dente). In parallel, in a large saucepan or skillet, simmer the sauerkraut, adding 50 ml of broth, about 10 minutes.
Add ham, cut into thin strips. Stir.
Then add chopped pepper. Stir.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta. Wash them with cold water.
In the pan with the cabbage add the remaining broth, sugar, tomato paste, pepper and, if necessary, salt. Stir.
In a greased form put the pasta and prepared the sauerkraut, stir. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the oven at 175 degrees for about half an hour.
