Description

Vintage homemade bagels
Recipe of Kalinga for the bread machine, but I did manually. The bagels turned out, though not high, but the air. The dough I have for a very long time was already approaching, so is the result. But the taste is great - bagels are not sweet and can be eaten with any Supplement!

Cooking

step-0
WELDING: 125g flour to brew 100 ml of boiling water. This was the recipe that gave me a relatively thick mass.
step-1
OPARA: Then in the other 125 grams of flour, pour 100 ml of warm water.
step-2
Add our welding. I topped up the water that was not too thick.
step-3
I immediately add the crumbled yeast, sugar and salt.
step-4
Next, whisk well and long hinder our dough. It should have a rubber consistency.
step-5
Leave the dough to approach.
step-6
Add the oil and egg protein (in the original recipe yolk) and pour the flour, until you get elastic dough does not stick. Leave it to approach.
step-7
Then shape the bagels. I did just the balls and in the middle of the hole.
step-8
WELDING: Boil water, add a pinch of salt and a little vegetable oil and boil each bagel about half a minute on each side.
step-9
To coat the bagels with egg yolk and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 180-200 degrees.
step-10
Welcome to the table!
