Carrot cake
The other day was looking through my mom's cookbook... and found this amazing recipe. Baked will tell you that the result exceeded all my expectations. A very delicious cake!

Ingredients

  • Peanuts

    1 cup

  • Carrots

    3 piece

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Flour

    2 cup

  • Sugar

    1 cup

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Leavening agent

    1 pack

  • Powdered sugar

    1 cup

  • Lemon juice

    0.5 cup

  • The food dye

Cooking

Nuts (I had peanuts) to chop, slightly to fry, then cool.

Carrot peel and grate on a coarse grater.

Butter to melt.

Separate the yolks from the whites. Mix the egg yolks with half Cup of sugar, beat until foam. Continuing to whisk, introduce the zest of one lemon, cinnamon, salt, then grated carrots, flour, baking powder and roasted nuts. Mix well.

Beat until stiff the whites with the remaining sugar. Gradually enter the protein mass in the dough and mix well.

At the end pour the melted butter.

Form grease with oil and put the dough. I baked it in a wonder oven for about 40 minutes (the temperature in the wonder-oven =180°C).

While the cake is baking, prepare the glaze. In the powdered sugar add lemon juice and stir. 3 tbsp. spoon the resulting mass set aside the rest to add a little yellow food coloring to mix well and coat top of cake. Then using a pastry package from the deferred part of the glaze to draw a pattern.
