Eggplant in Japanese style
Very unusual eggplant. Spicy, spicy. Are prepared quickly and eaten the same. Of course it serves "the Amateur". Eggplant can be cooked at the picnic. Served as a starter or as a side dish. The recipe is from the book of Mark Bittman "recipe matrix" with my changes.

Ingredients

  • Eggplant

    2 piece

  • Miso paste

    1 Tbsp

  • Soy sauce

    2 tsp

  • Wine rice

    1 Tbsp

  • Ginger

    2 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

    1.5 Tbsp

  • Brown sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Sesame

  • Green onions

Cooking

Eggplant wash, dry, cut in half lengthwise. The flesh is cut into, making a grid. Grease two sides with vegetable oil.

Put on a heated dry pan, cut a little the bottom of the eggplant for sustainability. Fire do is almost minimal. Cover with a lid. Fry on both sides.

In a bowl pour the soy sauce "Kikkoman"

Add to soy sauce, miso paste, mirin, brown sugar, grated ginger. Mix well.

Lubricate sauce tender slice of eggplant, cover and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Place on a plate, optionally sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
