Description
The book is taken from this cake, 51. It is not gourmet recipes, but those that are, differ to some nostalgic good quality. And in this, in my opinion, and should be a real English muffin.

Cooking
Separate the yolks from proteins to RUB them with sugar and softened butter. Thoroughly mix white (for purity of experiment, I did it manually, because 50 years ago there were no food processors).
Put in the pounded mass of half-whipped in a solid foam proteins and raisins.
Add the flour, stir until smooth. Add remaining whites and gently knead the dough.
Form of grease with butter and lightly sprinkle with flour. Put the dough into shape, filling it halfway.
Bake for approximately 40-50 minutes. The finished cupcake sprinkle with powdered sugar.
