Description

Bars
Recipe flapjack has a long history. Interestingly, the first mention of the word "Flapjack" is found in the 17th century, Shakespeare in the play "Pericles". Flapjack is a granola bar, traditionally containing maple syrup, brown sugar, nuts and dried fruits. In this case, I replaced the maple syrup with jam.

Cooking

step-0
Take oat bran from "Mistral".
step-1
Add the brown sugar and baking powder.
step-2
Take the walnuts and hazelnuts, finely chop with a knife or grind in a blender, but the pieces remained perceptible to the taste.
step-3
Take any dried fruit you wish, I have dried apricots and prunes. Also finely chop or grind in a blender.
step-4
Add crushed nuts and dried fruit to the oat bran, there also put orange marmalade, olive oil and dry mint. All mix thoroughly, can let stand for 20-30 minutes.
step-5
Take the convenient form, I have a 15 by 20 cm, covered with baking paper, evenly lay the "dough" with a thickness of about 2 see I spread with a wet hand. Put in heated to 180 degrees oven for 20 minutes until just brown.
step-6
The finished bars allow to cool a little, cut with a sharp knife. The bars turned out soft and crumbly. Can be stored up to 1 month in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Bon appetit!
