Venetian cookies
Great cookies! Tender, flavorful and Sunny! Is crumbly and yellow! For fans of corn cakes – a godsend! The recipe is old, like Carl Goldoni somewhere mentioned something like that.

Ingredients

  • Butter

    150 g

  • Yolk egg

    2 piece

  • Lemon peel

    1 Tbsp

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 pack

  • Powdered sugar

    100 g

  • Flour

    180 g

  • Corn flour

    100 g

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Raisins

    1 handful

In the bowl of a blender put the oil, the egg yolks and add the vanilla sugar and powdered sugar. I took the powder from the "Haas". Here is to erase the zest of one lemon, previously scalded it with boiling water. I really want to say again thank you Vic – victoria ms – for a wonderful grater for the peel. Very easy to remove the peel for such a long Tarocco – just playfully.

Thoroughly beat the butter with icing in a lush cream.

Double-sift both kinds of flour with baking powder. I use TM "Haas".

Add washed and well dried raisins. Silicone spatula knead the delicate, but thick batter.

Gently, with dry hands, roll the dough into balls the size of a ping-pong ball and place on a sheet of parchment looser. Then flatten cookies with a fork to give a more flat and beautiful shape.

Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 20-25 minutes. Remove from sheet and cool on a wire rack.

Cooled cookies generously sprinkled with powdered sugar – I have "Haas", for decorating desserts.

Serve cookies with a Cup of coffee.
