Turkish cookies
This recipe shared with me a friend from Turkey. Usually cookies did not surprise me, but it's special: it shortbread-crumbly and moist at the same time. Plus, the gentle fragrance of lemon, cocoa and vanilla does not leave you indifferent :) And that is still not enough Vigna, easy and quick to prepare! ;)

Ingredients

  • Butter

    125 g

  • Powdered sugar

    1 cup

  • Vegetable oil

    1 cup

  • Vanilla

    1 pack

  • Leavening agent

    1 pack

  • Cocoa powder

    4 Tbsp

  • Flour

    3 cup

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Water

    1 cup

  • Sugar

    1 cup

  • Lemon

Cooking

SYRUP Mix sugar, water and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil on low heat, stirring occasionally, 6 minutes. Set aside and allow to cool while making the cookies.

COOKIES with a Mixer mix all the ingredients. Roll small balls (about 3 cm in diameter), leaving a little space between cookies, spread on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 10 minutes in a preheated 200 degree oven

Still warm cookies liberally with a brush LUBRICATED with the SYRUP. I even double-oiled! Syrup took me a half-norm (maybe useful).
