Couscous with shrimp and vegetables
Couscous has a delicate taste and unusual texture. It can be served cold or hot as a side dish to meat and vegetables to add to stews and gravy. It's a great substitute for rice or pasta in salads and soups, it is even used instead of breadcrumbs for breading. The product itself is easy to prepare — just add hot water, stir and let stand for 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  • Couscous

    50 g

  • Shrimp

    10 piece

  • Olive oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Lettuce

    1 coup

  • Cucumber

    1 piece

  • Pepper

    2 piece

  • Parsley

  • Salt

  • Black olives

    6 piece

Cereal couscous (50 grams), pour boiled water at room temperature (100 ml) and leave to absorb liquid.

Olives cut into rings, cucumber and pepper cut into cubes

Vegetables to add to the couscous, season with salt, add olive oil and carefully mix.

Shrimp defrosted, to remove the esophagus, making an incision in the upper part of the back, and a knife or under running water to remove it (the intestine of shrimp contains waste products and can give a bitterness). Boil in salted water with spices for 2-3 minutes.

On a dish put lettuce leaves, put them in candy form, first place a layer of shrimp.
