Orange carrots
Unexpected and very fresh, the taste becomes normal carrots combined with orange juice, spices and chilli. Very good as a light side dish to roast chicken or beef. If you cook with vegetable oil, this dish is perfect for fasting.

Ingredients

  • Carrots

    9 piece

  • Butter

    50 g

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

  • Curry

    0.5 tsp

  • Orange juice

    250 ml

  • Chili

  • Mint

    3 piece

To prepare the products.

In a frying pan or skillet, melt the butter, add sugar, cinnamon, curry, stir all the spices.

Spread chopped into slices carrots, stir to distribute spices.

Pour in the orange juice, add the Chile and bring to a boil. I used 1/5 of the pod of pepper of Chile.

Reduce heat and simmer for 25 - 30 minutes. When the cooking time carrots it turns out al dente, so if you like softer vegetables, you need to increase the extinguishing time. 5 minutes until cooked add chopped mint.
