Amazing onion arrows
You still throw the onion arrows? Try to cook them for this recipe. Very tasty! Can be eaten as a separate dish or use as a sauce to garnish.

Ingredients

  • Green onions

    100 g

  • Vegetable oil

  • Salt

  • Seasoning

  • Water

    100 g

  • Tomato paste

    2 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

Cooking

To collect the arrows the onion, wash, cut off the top (we don't need them).

Arrows cut into pieces with a length of 6-7 cm, put into a pan with vegetable oil, to fry, stirring, for 2-3 minutes.

Add water, your favorite seasonings, add salt and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the tomato paste. I have tomato sauce, it is a bit watery, so I added 2 tbsp of flour. Simmer for another couple of minutes.

Turn off and add the garlic. Close the lid to steep.

As I said, can be used as gravy. But so very tasty!
