Chocolate cake
New and interesting recipe. Cooked it for the first time. Not the usual cake, with a rich flavor, more like a spicy cake. From the given quantity of ingredients I got 2 large cake-cupcakes and 6 small cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    550 g

  • Brown sugar

    500 g

  • Chicken egg

    15 piece

  • Milk

    300 ml

  • Cocoa powder

    100 g

  • Semi-dry red wine

    100 ml

  • Crackers

    100 g

  • Raisins

    150 g

  • Cherry

    100 g

  • Rum

    50 ml

  • Yeast

    25 g

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

  • Cardamom

    1 tsp

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Salt

Cooking

Do infuse. Dissolve yeast in milk (100 ml), add a little sugar, flour and place in a warm place for 20-25 minutes.

Beat the egg yolks with 200 grams of brown sugar.

Add in the yeast mixture, mix well. Gradually, stirring the dough, add the rum, wine, melted butter.

Crackers, raisins, and cherries.

Cocoa powder, salt, flour and all the spices. Knead the dough and put in a warm place.

Beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar.

Add the whipped whites into the batter, mix until smooth. The dough should be liquid, not tight.

Form grease with vegetable oil. Put the dough into molds and put in a warm place for 20 minutes. When the dough has risen, put the cakes in a preheated 190*C oven for 35-45 minutes.

Decorate as one likes. I decorated with icing and pieces of white chocolate.

For the glaze: powdered sugar took 350 grams, the juice of 1 lemon, 70 g of water and 1 egg white. Mix well.
