Vanilla and coffee braids
Simple-to-make dish. Very convenient to eat for tea, or to slip for a snack for a hungry child

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1.5 cup

  • Butter

    60 g

  • Milk

    0.5 cup

  • Instant coffee

    3 Tbsp

  • Vanilla sugar

    10 g

  • Powdered sugar

    60 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

Boil in a bowl the milk, add coffee, bring to boil, remove from heat, cool. The grounds should settle to the bottom.

Sift the flour, heat to room temperature butter. Lightly beat the egg. Churned in my kitchen resident.

Add the flour to the butter, powdered sugar, egg, knead the dough. Divide it into 2 equal parts.

In one portion of the dough add the vanilla sugar, in the other 1 tbsp of the coffee beverage (it is better to filter through 2 layers of cheesecloth. I'm part of the test added instead of coffee cocoa powder, to give the child). Thoroughly mix both parts of the test again.

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap, put into the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Remove the dough from the refrigerator. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees, put the pan with parchment. Roll out white and brown small balls, roll them into sausages.

Twist 2 colors together to get braids. Pour into pan, put on 15 minutes in the oven.
