Minced herring under a fur coat
This Christmas salad will change Your view about the herring under a fur coat - first of all, absolutely non-hackneyed taste of the foods, secondly, no Mayo, and thus gravity after the holiday feast (and the salad is quite hearty), in the third - a beautiful design that will contribute to the fact that lettuce eaten will be one of the first for the new year table. And, of course, the original filling, which creates the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Have a nice holiday!)

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

  • Carrots

  • Beets

    2 piece

  • Herring

    250 g

  • Apple

    0.5 piece

  • Bread

    3 slice

  • Milk

    100 ml

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Mustard

    2 tsp

  • Honey

    0.5 Tbsp

  • Vegetable oil

    5 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Dill

    2 sprig

  • Walnuts

    1 handful

1. Boil the potatoes, beets and carrots until soft (potatoes cooked most quickly, followed by the carrots, but the beets have to cook longer). You can cook vegetables in the skin, and can be pre-cleaned as you wish.

2. Eggs are also boiled and put into cold water to cool.

4. Pour the bread with milk and leave for a while.

5. Clean eggs, one yolk to postpone for decoration.

6. Clean and chop half of the Apple, the onion, also cut the herring fillets and eggs. Put everything into blender or grinder, add the milk squeezed from the bread and grind into a homogeneous mass. Mincemeat is ready. Salt is not necessary.

7. Prepare the salad dressing. In a bowl, mix the honey and mustard, pour it into the vegetable oil and whisk to a smooth emulsion.

8. Boiled vegetables RUB on a coarse grater from top to bottom - first the potatoes, then the carrots and beets.

9. Take a serving form, put on a plate and begin to put layers of salad. First put a layer of potatoes. Lubricated with the dressing.

10. Then spread the mincemeat (generously). Do not add salt! Again pour the gas station. Put a layer of carrots, again coat with mincemeat and seasoning.

11. Put a layer of potatoes, top with seasoning and finish with the beets.
