Pea fritters
Wanted to cook, that thread pea, that invented this unusual dish. Try it!

Ingredients

  • Peas

    400 g

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Flour

  • Butter

  • Vegetable oil

  • Salt

  • Soda

Pour the peas with cold water and leave overnight to swell. Swollen peas boil until tender (40 min.). Drain the water, leaving not a lot to mash into a puree, add a knob of butter. you should get watery. Cool. Add salt, soda, eggs, fried onions and flour. Mix well.

Heated in a skillet vegetable oil, pour into it a spoonful of batter and fry on both sides.
