Mackerel marinated in Georgian
Delicious, healthy fish with garlic and cilantro, marinated in grape vinegar.

Ingredients

  • Mackerel

    1 kg

  • Cilantro

    2 coup

  • Garlic

    4 tooth

  • Vinegar

    100 ml

  • Salt

    3 Tbsp

  • Bay leaf

    3 piece

  • Allspice

    1 tsp

  • Allspice

    10 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

Mackerel wash and peel from the giblets.

Cut off the head, fins and portions cut into pieces

Put water to boil, add salt, pepper, Bay leaf, whole peeled onions. Cut the cilantro, pepper and finely shinkuem.

In boiling water put the fish gently and cook for 5 min.

Prepare the dish where you will marinate the fish. Carefully take out the fish pieces and spread in a dish, sprinkle the top with cilantro and garlic, another layer of fish spread and repeat the procedure.

Vinegar, red hot pepper and part of the separated fish broth ( 1.5 cups hot broth), mix in a separate bowl, tasting. For lovers of witty add vinegar and pepper. Pour the marinade our fish and after it has cooled, refrigerate for 3-5 hours.

Over time the marinade to drain very carefully so all the herbs and the garlic stayed with the fish.
