Description

A side dish of basmati rice with vegetables and barberry
Turned almost vegetarian pilaf, but I prefer the rice on the side :)

Ingredients

  • Figure

    1 cup

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Tomato

    1 piece

  • Broth

    2 cup

  • Greens

  • Barberry

  • Salt

  • Spices

  • Vegetable oil

Cooking

Onions cut into cubes, carrots - julienne and fry in vegetable oil.

Tomato cut into small cubes, add to vegetables and sauté for about 5-7 minutes.

Add rice and pour in the stock, season with salt, stir, cover and diminished the fire, to cook about 15-20 minutes until the liquid evaporates.

Add chopped fresh herbs (parsley, onion or optional), barberry, and favorite spices, mix well. Let stand and soak up the flavor!
