Description
Рanspeziale is a very ancient Christmas treat. The name appeared due to the fact that the first manufacturers were pharmacists (which in the old days in Italy were called “speziali”). Later, when the monks of the Certosa di Bologna (i.e., the Bologna monastery) took its trade and it has reached the peaks of pastry-making, “Panspeziale” was called also "Certosino". For the contest "new year tastes of the planet."

Cooking
The preparation of this delicious delicacy is exceptionally simple. In a water bath melt the butter and chocolate.
Add all the other ingredients.
All of them carefully mix.
Grease with butter a cake tin, put in it the resulting mass.
Decorate the top “Panspeziale” bells and various candied fruits.
Place in oven on low temperature and let panspeziale to dry for about an hour.(it's prescription). I baked 40 minutes at 200 degrees, it turned out so soft and tender.
