Satsivi
This took the recipe from an old cookbook of my husband's mom, who unfortunately died in the same year as my father (2005), never seeing the wedding of the child. The recipe is authentic, it came from Georgia, friends were real princes.

Ingredients

  • Chicken

    1 kg

  • Walnuts

    250 g

  • Cilantro

    2 coup

  • Butter

    150 g

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Garlic

    5 tooth

  • Water

    500 ml

Cooking

Peel the onion and garlic.

Cut chicken breast (chicken) into pieces.

Melt the butter in a frying pan.

Put the chicken and spices for satsivi.

Scrollable cilantro and nuts through a meat grinder, but I don't have it, so I chopped the greens.

The nuts spun in a blender.

Melt the butter in another pan.

Cut the onion and in a frying pan.

Boil water in a kettle, add boiling water to the chicken while it will not cover it.

Part of the broth, add in onions. I left, and still in the blender chopped nuts with herbs with broth. Pour this sauce to the onions.

Then in a bowl put layers of chicken without the broth, season with salt and spice for the walnut sauce, and walnut-spicy sauce. Let them soak the flavours.
