Mackerel stewed in tea
Mackerel is a popular fish, it is fried, smoked, salted, pickled. I want to offer steamed mackerel in tea with vegetables. The fish turns out tender with a rich taste.

Ingredients

  • Water

    2 cup

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Mackerel

    2 piece

  • Black tea

    1.5 Tbsp

  • Brown sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Bay leaf

    1 piece

  • Black pepper

    5 piece

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

Cooking

The fish is cleaned, remove the head and viscera, cut into pieces.

Onions and carrots peel and thinly slice.

The dry tea pour boiling water, add sugar. Sugar cane I took from TM "Mistral".

The tea infuse for 10 minutes, drain.

In a pan pour vegetable oil, put the carrots.

On carrots put the fish on the fish, onion, salt, put the Bay leaf, pepper peas.

Pour hot tea. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover and cook for 30 minutes.

Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
