Almond peach cake
Dried peaches, almonds and whipped egg whites - the cake turns out very interesting and tasty.

Ingredients

  • Sugar

    1.5 cup

  • Leavening agent

    2 tsp

  • Peach

    1.5 cup

  • Almonds

    1.5 cup

  • Cracker

    12 piece

  • Egg white

    8 piece

  • Powdered sugar

Turn the oven on 180 gr. Shape with a diameter of 26 cm oil and cover with paper. In a large bowl, combine sugar, baking powder and dried peaches (or dried apricots).

In the bowl of a food processor put the almonds and crackers.

Crush, but NOT to flour.

Add sugar to peach mixture. Mix well.

Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks.

Gently combine (with a spoon) the whipped whites with the dry ingredients.

Put in prepared pan.

Bake for one hour, until the cake will not become Golden brown and dry to the touch. Cool completely in the form.

The cooled cake put on the dish, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Bon appetit!
