Lean honey gingerbread
Honey gingerbread with raisins and nuts, covered with jam, perfect for a festive tea party in the days of Fasting and not just.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1.5 cup

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Water

    250 ml

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

  • Raisins

    100 g

  • Honey

    2 Tbsp

  • Nuts

    100 g

  • Cocoa powder

    2 Tbsp

  • Vegetable oil

    0.5 cup

Cooking

Take 200 gr of sugar, 250 ml of water (or juice), 2 tbsp of honey and half a Cup of vegetable oil. Stirred and heated to 60°C.

Zamesova separately in the dish, mix a half Cup of sifted through a sieve flour with two tablespoons of cocoa, one teaspoon baking powder, a teaspoon of cinnamon.

Finely chop nuts in a blender.

With a beater (or mixer) whisk the sugar and flour mixture. During the mixing process, add to the dough half a Cup of raisins (dried apricots, figs, or all at once), and chopped nuts.

Put the dough in silicon form. Bake in preheated to 200 degrees oven for 40 minutes.

Ready gingerbread on top to grease a silicone brush the jam heated slightly in the microwave. Enjoy your tea!
