Appetizer with baked herring, pickled in soy sauce and hot red pepper. Very tasty and beautiful appetizer for the holiday table! Baked herring is not worse than any expensive fish. Oily, spicy soy sauce for KIKKOMAN sushi and hot red pepper. Cook)

    50 ml

For the appetizers I chose a big fat herring. Cleaned it, cut off the head, tail and fins. Washed and dried with paper towel.

Took a suitable container, which will marinate the herring. Rubbed it with chili pepper in red and black, fresh-ground whole (inside too). Got soy sauce. Cover and let marinate 30 minutes, periodically turning it in the marinade.

Herring is marinated.

Wrapped the fish in foil, added a little soy sauce, carefully wrapped. Sent in the oven preheated t 180 C for 15-20 minutes.

Herring ready. I want to say that there is no pronounced smell of herring during baking. Very tasty! I cooled it and took the easy ridge. Chose bones, although they almost all retreated from the ridge.

To prepare all snacks. Eggs, potatoes and carrots while I made marinated and baked herring.

I have triangles of metal for the formation of the salads, appetizers. I used them, although you can snack to collect and without them, it would wish! Cut the crumb of bread with them. I'm going to do this individually for each snack and therefore immediately took the plates.

Coat the bread with mayonnaise. Grate the potato, carrot and cheese melted (you can take and solid, but with melted delicious!). Bread with mayonnaise put a layer of potatoes and again mayonnaise smeared on a layer. Hereinafter, the layer is baked herring.

Herring don't coat with mayonnaise, and immediately put carrots+mayonnaise.

Then a layer of grated cheese+herbs:onions and parsley. In General the food is ready!

... but we have New year on the nose as without caviar??? The egg, I cut the "noses" of the special device and put on the greens, and on top put caviar generously. I was left with a "patch" of eggs and I added a snack, put it next to the starter "snout" eggs and he-calf.
