Salad with Roquefort and caramelized pear
A very winning combination of sweet pears, blue cheese and walnuts is complemented by crisp lettuce and classic dressing "vinaigrette". The pears are roasted in melted honey and become thin caramel crust.

Ingredients

  • Pear

    2 piece

  • Walnuts

    100 g

  • Honey

    100 g

  • Blue cheese

    200 g

  • Lettuce

    200 g

  • Vinegar

    2 Tbsp

  • Sunflower oil

    4 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

1. Pear cut in half, remove the core.

2. In a pan melt 50 g of honey and put a pear cut down. Fry until Golden brown, flip and cook the other side. Grease a bowl with sunflower oil and put on pears. (The oil should be oil, so the pears won't stick.)

3. In a clean pan melt the remaining honey and fry the nuts.

4. For filling pour oil in balsamic vinegar in a thin stream, whisking constantly, to obtain the emulsion.

5. Add salt and pepper. This dressing stores well in a closed jar. If it exfoliate, just shake a jar.
