Delicious meatballs with groats and potatoes in a cucumber - tomato gravy. Very hearty dish that is perfect for lunch and dinner.

Cooking
In the bowl of a blender, drop the garlic, 1 onion, egg. Beat until smooth.
Groats pearl-barley, boil until soft. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
In a bowl mix the minced meat, potatoes, barley, onion - egg mixture, pepper and salt.
In a frying pan with a thick bottom and high edges on the butter sauté onions, carrots and cucumbers.
Add tomatoes in juice, Bay leaf and pickle (you can completely do without it). It needs more salt to taste if required (note that as the infusion, it becomes saltier sauce). Leave for 5 minutes.
Of meat to form meatballs, put in pan.
Pour boiling water so that water almost completely covers the meatballs. After boiling, reduce the heat to low and cook under closed lid for 40 minutes.
At the end of cooking sprinkle with parsley.
Serve hot, with sour cream.
