Lean spicy honey cake
Delicate cake, with a pronounced honey flavor and aroma of spices. One of the most successful recipes of Lenten sweets.

Ingredients

  • Sugar

    0.75 cup

  • Water

    1 cup

  • Vegetable oil

    0.5 cup

  • Honey

    3 Tbsp

  • Soda

    1 tsp

  • Spices

    2 tsp

  • Cashews

    1 cup

  • Flour

    320 g

In a saucepan mix water, vegetable oil "Oleyna", honey and sugar. Put on medium heat and heat, stirring without boiling. Allow to cool to warm.

Immediately add soda, stir, the mixture will begin to foam honey extinguished soda.

All the spices and half the nuts, chop.

To the honey mixture, add the sifted flour.

Add the crushed spices and remaining cashew nuts whole and mix.

Put the dough in a cake pan lined with parchment and bake at 180 degrees for 40-45 min.
