Canapes with chicken liver, onions and apples
Canapés make a very pleasant taste - sour-sweet apples, soft onion, tender liver... all on a crispy base. Perfect for small family holidays. Recipe taken from "Good food".

Ingredients

  • Chicken liver

    500 g

  • Bread

    12 slice

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Apple

    1 piece

  • Butter

  • Vegetable oil

Cooking

Onions finely cut and fry in butter on a slow fire until transparent.

Put onions in a separate plate.

On the same pan where onions were fried, put the chopped on slices of green Apple. Fry both sides on low heat until until the slices of apples are softer.

Arrange the apples in a separate dish.

In the same pan, where grilled onions and Apple, sauté chicken livers until soft (2-4 minutes).

On a baking sheet, greased with sunflower oil, put the slices of bread (preferably pre-cut them with a knife or a round glass to shape).

Bread to put grilled onions and Apple slices.

On the sofa to put chicken liver. Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes to canapés soaked with juice, and slices of bread slightly browned.

Serve on a flat plate of both hot and cold. Bon appetit!
