Chocolate sablé from Pierre Herme
Very tasty and very chocolate!

Ingredients

  • Butter

    150 g

  • Sugar

    120 g

  • Flour

    175 g

  • Cocoa powder

    30 g

  • Powdered sugar

    50 g

  • Dark chocolate

    150 g

  • Salt

    3 g

  • Vanilla

    0.5 tsp

  • Soda

    5 g

Cooking

Beat butter to cream with the salt.

Add sugar, powdered sugar and vanilla. (To be honest, I don't understand why sugar and powdered sugar together, but once the Maestro said so I shall!)

Sift the flour, cocoa, soda, mix everything. Combine all together, add the chocolate (I had already grated chocolate, it is better to use finely chopped or chips).

Divide the resulting mass into 2 parts and form sausages with a diameter of 4 cm, well-pressed mass from all sides. Wrap in plastic wrap and send for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
