Squid on skewers
Excellent and very tasty starter of squid. Cooked very easily and quickly. Looks beautiful on the holiday table.

Ingredients

  • Squid

    500 g

  • Water

    50 ml

  • Honey

    1 Tbsp

  • Brown sugar

    1 tsp

  • Soy sauce

    50 ml

  • Ginger

    1 tsp

  • Potato starch

    1 tsp

  • Wine white sweet

    50 ml

  • Lemon juice

    1 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Sesame

    1 tsp

Cooking

Squid should be cleaned, washed and cut into strips about 2-2,5 cm wide.

Prepare the marinade. This ginger and garlic, grate on a small grater.

Add water, soy sauce, wine (or mirin) and lemon juice.

Sliced calamari soak in half of the marinade for 15-20 minutes.

The remaining half of the marinade to pour in a saucepan and put on fire. Add 1 tsp brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of honey. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

Starch to dissolve in a tablespoon of water and pour into a saucepan. Stir well to avoid lumps. Sauce bring to boil and strain.

Strips of squid strung on skewers and fry on medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.

With a brush coat with the sauce.

Put on a plate and sprinkle roasted sesame seeds.
