Nussecken - Nut triangles
Wonderful German pastries with nuts and a sweet apricot scent. My recipe for this yummy.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    300 g

  • Baking powder

    1 pack

  • Sugar

    310 g

  • Salt

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Butter

    250 g

  • Marzipan

    100 g

  • Cognac

    2 Tbsp

  • Nuts

    400 g

  • Sour cream

    100 g

  • Vanilla

  • Glaze

    200 g

  • Jam

    150 g

Cooking

Mix the flour, baking powder, 60 g sugar, salt and 125 g butter.

Knead the dough and send it for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Prepare the filling: Melt 125 g of butter, add sour cream, 250 g sugar and the vanilla. Bring to boil.

Add grated marzipan, cognac and nuts. Mix well. If not marzipan, it is possible and without it.

Roll the dough 1 cm thick, lay on a baking sheet.

Apply a liberal amount of apricot jam.

Evenly distribute the nut mixture.

Bake for 20-25 minutes at a temperature of 175°C.

Allow to cool slightly. Still warm cakes cut into squares, about 8 x 8 cm squares Cut diagonally into triangles.

Melt the chocolate glaze.

Dip the corners of the triangles into the chocolate and allow to cool.
