Description

Glogg
Christmas Scandinavian hot alcoholic drink based on wine and vodka. Glogg is usually served with raisins, almonds and ginger carrot. In Denmark, Glogg is traditionally served with sliced apples, dusted with powdered sugar, with strawberry jam. The Swedes on Christmas eve satisfied with the glogg party. Spicy guilty then serves tangerines and lusse bullar - sweet buns made with saffron. The drink will be "subject" to those who are going to celebrate the New year on the frost - warm and cheer! The recipe for this dish was posted on the website in 2008 by user Veruschka called "Glogg" and is illustrated with me in the framework of "Coloring".

Cooking

step-0
I took red wine. The photo does not have enough ginger - I forgot to put. If you don't like ginger, you can add or reduce the quantity to half a teaspoon.
step-1
All ingredients except almonds and raisins, mix and leave for 12 hours. Better to do it at night.
step-2
In the morning, almonds steamed twice with boiling water for a few minutes and remove skin. Raisins simply pour over boiling water.
step-3
To put the drink on medium heat and very hot, not boiling, otherwise it will evaporate the alcohol!
step-4
Remove from heat, drain. In the glasses put the raisins and almonds and pour the glogg.
step-5
Very fragrant, warming and delicious drink! Can be consumed immediately, and the next day. Then strain and reheat just before eating. Most importantly - tightly close the bottle.
